Not a fit? We’ll be honest about that, too — and guide you toward the right option.

Your dog will learn solid obedience skills like sit, down, place, heel, come, and loose leash walking plus any extra behaviors we identify as goals during your first session. More importantly, you’ll learn how to actually use those skills in real life, not just in perfect training conditions.
Life happens. If you need to miss a session, we’ll reschedule one make-up within your 8-week window. If you miss more than once… we might start training you on recall.
Absolutely. In fact, we encourage it. Your dog needs consistency, and that starts with everyone being on the same page. Just maybe don’t bring your entire extended family. Two to three people max.
We’ll meet at a pre-planned public location (like a park, downtown, or dog-friendly store) that gives us room to move, train, and practice real-world scenarios. Some of this will depend on what we’re working on in any given week.
That’s okay! This program — and Quest K9 as a whole — were designed for real dogs with real feelings. Whether you’ve got reactivity, nerves, or just a serious stubborn streak, don’t worry, we’ve seen it all.
No single program is magic, but this one gives you the tools, structure, and support to make serious progress, especially if you’re consistent between sessions. If your dog is dealing with more complex behaviors (like aggression or severe fear), we’ll point you to a better-fitting program after an evaluation.
You'll have the skills and knowledge to keep training on your own. We also offer pack walks, group sessions, and ongoing community support if you want to stay connected and keep your dog sharp.
This program isn’t designed for dogs with severe aggression, but don’t worry, we’ve got a custom program for that. We’ll evaluate your dog first and let you know the best fit.
